The Pioneer Group – Social Housing Compliance Testing

“Black Pear Electrical have worked with The Pioneer Group since October 2020. We engaged Black Pear to assist with the delivery of our electrical compliance programme and consequent remedial works to our property portfolio in Castle Vale, Birmingham. Taking ownership of the entire process with clear communication throughout they have proved a seamless addition. We now think of them to be a fully integrated part of our team, from the office staff to the front-line electricians.”
Miles Harling, The Pioneer Group - Contract Manager Planned Maintenance

Our Approach

Using our existing and proven processes for delivering multi property compliance programmes, with some small customisation we are able to deliver The Pioneer Groups objectives. Ensuring their property portfolio not only legally complaint but most importantly safe.

We provide an end-to-end service; from the initial assignment of a property, we look after everything and “hand the property” back once all electrical works have been completed and certification in place.

Weekly we report back to The Pioneer Group with a progress report detailing the status of every property assigned to us:

The result of the EICR (satisfactory or unsatisfactory)
The date the remedial appointment has been booked, for those unsatisfactory results
If we have not been able to gain access or if the tenants are shielding from COVID-19
How many times we have attempted to make an appointment
