If you are considering getting a home charge point for your electric vehicle, act now to take advantage of the government’s Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS). As from April 2022 this scheme will no longer be available for homeowners in single-unit properties. Installations for single-unit homeowners need to be completed by 31st March 2022 and a claim submitted to the DVLA by 30th April 2022.
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS), aimed at offering an additional incentive to business owners, to purchase and install EV chargers at the workplace, will continue to run.
