Black Pear Electrical is extremely proud to announce that we have achieved certification in the following three standards:

  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management
  • ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management
  • ISO 45001: 2018  Health and Safety Management

ISO certification refers to the process by which a company or organisation obtains certification for complying with the standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). The ISO is an international body that develops and publishes a wide range of standards to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and consistency in various industries and fields.

ISO certification typically involves the following steps:

  • Standard Selection: An organisation selects the specific ISO standard(s) that are relevant to its industry or operations. ISO standards cover a wide range of areas, including quality management, environmental management, information security, and more.
  • Compliance Assessment: The organisation then assesses its existing processes, systems, and practices to determine whether they meet the requirements outlined in the chosen ISO standard.
  • Implementation: If gaps in compliance are identified, the organization works to implement the necessary changes and improvements to align with the ISO standard’s requirements.
  • Documentation: Comprehensive documentation of the processes and systems in place is often required. This documentation serves as evidence of compliance with ISO standards.
  • Internal Audit: The organisation typically conducts internal audits to ensure that its processes and systems are compliant with the ISO standard.
  • Certification Audit: Once the organisation believes it is in compliance with the ISO standard, it engages an accredited certification body or registrar. This body conducts an independent audit to verify compliance.
  • Certification: If the certification body determines that the organisation meets the ISO standard’s requirements, it issues a certificate, indicating that the organisation is ISO certified. This certification is usually valid for a specific period and subject to regular surveillance audits to ensure continued compliance.

It is an inordinate achievement that shows we are truly endowed in understanding our client’s needs in working with them to deliver high quality solutions, at the same time continuously reviewing and improving the way we work.
